Our Half-Day Camp Themes
Get ready to gear up with robots in this advanced robotics camp! Hands-on experiments and robot-building time provides children the opportunity to examine their robots with circuit-savvy eye!
Shake up a flask of fun in the lab and become a junior chemist! Learn to recognize chemical reactions and mix up a few reactive ingredients for some sensational results! Campers will have a blast as they make ome crazy concoctions!
Digging for Dinos (Preschool)
Come and dig for dinosaur bones and make your very own dinosaur teeth! In this camp your pre-schooler will have fun learning tons of amazing facts about dinosaurs through songs, stories, and hands-on activities!
Eureka! The Inventor's Camp
Children overcome a series of challenges using basic materials, simple machines, tips from famous inventors, and most importantly, their minds. With a bit of ingenuity, they create catapults and forts, construct working light sticks, and assemble a set of circuits with batteries and light bulbs.
Experience Newton's Loco-Motion. Design and build everything from planes and kites to your own hovercraft. Have fun learning how things fly, how things move and how rockets are able to travel into space. You will explore everything from the earliest flying devices to modern rocketry, build your own model airplane, and much more!
My First Lab
Junior Scientists will take in science around them in this brand new Mad Science camp for preschoolers! Step into an astronauts shoes as we travel to space, work your muscles as we learn about our skeletons, and catch your shadow as we look at light! A Mad Science symphony will take place as we listen to how music is made and magnet exploration will help everything stick together!
NASA Camp: Academy for Future Space Explorers
Set your future space explorers on a trajectory from our Earth’s atmosphere to the outer reaches of our solar system! This hands-on program brings them closer to the stars, planets, comets, and more. They learn about living in space, getting away from gravity, looking for space phenomena, and they participate in a rocket launch!
Rockin' Rockets & Aerodynamics
From the earliest flying machines to the first rocket flights, this hands-on program for children (ages 7-12) will allow them to build many different flying devices, see how Newton's laws of motion help explain how things move and how rockets fly, and show them how amazing our Milky Way is.
Secret Agent Lab
This program features fun-filled, hands-on, secret agent-themed science activities that allow kids to play detective, explore forensic science, sharpen their surveillance skills, and crack encrypted messages. Kids become super sleuths!
Kids learn about archaeology and the techniques scientists use to excavate long lost cities! They discover ancient civilizations and the tools and artifacts they used in everyday life! They also study bone fragments, pottery shards, amber deposits, and fossils. Each class also includes a make and take-home project, like a fossil reproduction, an amber time capsule, and coins from around the world!
